The same 5 or 6 points being made over and over every week on Friday before getting released for libo. It starts with the CO telling you to stay safe, call someone if you find yourself in trouble, and to not drink and drive, even though Gunny’s DUI got swept under the rug last week. This is followed by 1st Sergeant and other random Staff NCOs “piggybacking” off what he or she said, which really just means repeating the same things you were just told.

I don’t think a liberty brief has ever prevented any incidents, ever. It’s just there for the staff to be able to say they told us not to every week so they can blame our alcohol related incidents on us even though they are the ones that make our lives so terrible that we drink until we do dumb shit.
