After 45 consecutive days out to sea, a ship is authorized a “Beer Day”. Typically 2 beers per person. Often the beers are warm, just to fuck with your morale.

I heard we’re not hitting a port any time soon, but sounds like they’re gonna give us a Beer Day to make up for it and trick us into thinking they actually care about us.
